Hi ! I'm Mike Perras, the founder and owner of Axis Restoration Services, Inc.
I founded this company originally in 1989 as Steamer's Custom Carpet &
Upholstery Cleaning. Over the ensuing years we built up a loyal following of
clients throughout Orange County and enjoyed helping them maintain their
homes and watching many of their children grow up, graduate from college and
even marry.
During this time, I developed an interest in helping out clients who's homes or
businesses had experienced flooding or mold issues due to prior flooding. I fell
in love with this industry, and made a decision to dedicate myself to learning all
I could about it and be able to serve these customer needs solely.
At that time (around 1997) I sold the cleaning division and renamed the company
and we have been concentrating on water damage and mold only. I attended many training classes throughout the U.S. and over the next few years became a Certified Master Restorer and Master Cleaner. In addition, I became certified in mold remediation as these two issues are so closely related. I also became an IICRC Approved Instructor
and Senior Practicing Carpet Inspector. I've always loved education, and am a
graduate of the University of Southern California (if you're a Bruin fan, I hope you won't hold that against me!). I graduated with a Masters Degree in Communication from
San Diego State University and have taught at a few of the local colleges and universities.
We occasionally will clean a specialty rug or a piece of upholstered or leather
finished furniture for our old clientele, as they only trust us to do the right job.
We appreciate their loyalty and consider that a great compliment.
I love this industry! Our customers appreciate what we do for them so much. My
company's emphasis has always been and will always be providing the highest level of customer service possible. Water damage and environmental issues are such stressful experiences for our clients. The least we can do is make sure we're taking care of their home or commercial building as if it were our own. We're always available for consultations. I work as a consultant to other restoration companies in Orange County
and work very closely with one of the finest Industrial Hygienist in the area.

If I'm with a client, just leave a voicemail message and I can usually return your call within two hours. In case of emergencies, we will drop everything we're working on and come right out to help.
